Precision and Responsive Interdisciplinary Soft Matter (PRISM) Lab

The PRISM Lab works at the intersection of drug delivery, biomaterials, protein engineering, cancer therapeutics, and advanced microscopy and imaging with specific focuses on engineering next-generation therapeutic and diagnostic platforms to improve specificity and efficacy of the current cancer treatment paradigm. The lab integrates nanotechnology, biological soft matter, recombinant proteins, and tissue engineering to address challenges in targeted drug delivery and early disease detection. The lab consists of biochemists, chemical engineers, and pharmaceutical engineers, who are driven by a passion for interdisciplinary research and innovation, committed to advancing engineering solutions that improve cancer diagnosis, treatment, and patient outcomes.
